About the boat

For creature comfort she has a full galley that includes an AC/DC refrigerator/freezer, propane oven & stove, sink, and full head. For the hot summer days she has a built in AC unit that pumps out 50* air, switch the heat pump to heat and it will blast out 100* air!

Safety equipment includes 15 life jackets (4 for kids), (4) portable fire extinguishers, (2) mounted Halon extinguishers in the engine room, bilge high water alarm, (2) electric bilge pumps and one hand pump. Electronics include (2) fixed mounted VHF radios and one hand-held. Navigation equipment consist of a 24 nautical mile FURUNO RADAR, Garmin Fix mounted Chart-plotter with fish finder, a hand held back-up GPS and paper charts of the entire Chesapeake Bay. There is also a complete flare kit and first-aid supplies.

Katie Lynn cruises at 14 knots and provides a smooth ride even in 4-5 foot seas! The well insulated engine compartment keeps the engine noise low enough so passengers can carry on a conversation inside the main salon without yelling.
