Overview: CMYC is coordinating a Yacht Club trip to Bay Creek Marina the night of the 20th of June. Bay Creek is a new marina located 25 miles North of Little Creek, in Cape Charles. Please see sailing list at bottom of page. For privacy purposes I will leave info blocks empty until directed to add the info (contact info, diner contributions, etc.)

BREAKING NEWS: As of 18 June: Dennis and Sally Travis had to pull out. 

Reservations must be made NOW! Club members recently reported that Bay Creek is FULL during the summer months! Call them before 1800 at 757-331-8640 or visit BayCreekResort.com

Navigation is very tricky! But if you study the route, stay in the channel and hopefully have a bigger boat ahead of you, you'll be fine. Under links you will find the marinas published nav route.

Dining for the club will be our famous "Dock Box Buffet", club members report that although the local marina restaurant is outstanding... plan on a long wait! If you're with a group... forget about it!  I suggest a cold platter you can prep at home. Ideas include finger sandwiches, salad, deviled eggs, fruit salad, cheese and cracker platter, chilled shrimp (COSTCO/Sams club Platter?). The below sailing list will have what each boat is bringing.

Alternate lodging: The marina has condos and rooms for rent, please see their site for more info, there are other Cape Charles options such as B&B's, but please note a CMYC members input:

"I just want to make the CMYC aware of a situation that we got into last year.

We made reservations for the weekend over there at a B&B. When the weather turned dirty and the trip was "put on hold", we called to cancel our reservation and learned that we COULD NOT. We even tried to dispute it with American Express and were not successful. So, be careful. I would make sure anyone that plans on staying ashore make sure of any cancellation arrangements, in advance."
