Boat Policy:
Deposit policy: If the paying party cancels their trip the deposit is non-refundable, exceptions will be made on a case by case basis. Capt. Scott reserves the right to cancel the trip due to weather or vessel mechanical reasons, in this case, the trip will be rescheduled or another vessel will be used if possible.
Late arrivals: If no notice is given to Capt. Scott, the voyage will be terminated one hour after the agreed arrival time and the deposit will be forfeited. Up to a two hour delay will be acceptable if Capt. Scott is notified, with the understanding that KL will return on the originally scheduled return time.
Number of passengers: With few exception, the number of passengers originally agreed upon will be the total allowed onboard (never to exceed six paying customers). The fee paid is for the voyage, not a "per person admission". If a member (or members) of the party arrive late, the above policy will be used [late arrivals] with the exception that the voyage will continue for full agreed price with as little as one passenger.
ZERO DRUG TOLERANCE! Alcohol is allowed to be brought aboard and consumed by paying customers 21 years and older. Capt. Scott reserves the right to prohibit the consumption of alcohol to individuals who threaten the safe voyage of the vessel, or the safety of Capt., Crew or Passengers.
Personal Flotation Devices (Life Jackets): KL is required to (and has onboard) a USCG approved Type I PFD for each paying customer and crew. Children under 12 are required to wear a PFD.
Coast Guard Regulations: All passengers are required to follow the posted USCG placards with respect to the discharge of garbage and marine sanitation devices (bathroom!)
Early returns: Capt. Scott reserves the right to terminate a voyage due to weather, mechanical or health reasons. A refund will be determined by Capt. Scott, however, the right to retain the full paid fee applies.
Damage to the vessel or equipment: Passenger(s) will be held financially accountable for any negligent damage to either the vessel KL and/or equipment to include fishing and entertainment devices such as rods, nets, CD player, radio 's and chairs.
